Neck – Measure the widest part at the base of the neck (just before the shoulders).

Chest – Measure the widest part of the ribcage, about 1–2" behind the front legs.

Leave room for one finger between the tape and your pup for a snug, but comfortable fit.

Step-In Harnesses: This style is less adjustable given the vest construction, so the chest measurement is the most important to match.

Everything fit, based on the size chart, I purchased the harness in XL but the rest of the items in M/L. My Pittie is under 50lbs and XL harness is more for a medium dog, like mine. I give it four stars because the leash did not seem to be of the best quality.
